Escrito'stá en mi alma vuestro gesto, A
y cuanto yo escribir de vos deseo: B
vos sola lo escribisteis; yo lo leo B
tan solo, que aun de vos me guardo en esto. A
En esto estoy y estaré siempre puesto, A
que aunque no cabe en mí cuanto en vos veo, B
de tanto bien lo que no entiendo creo, B
tomando ya la fe por presupuesto. A
Yo no nací sino para quereros; C
mi alma os ha cortado a su medida; D
por hábito del alma mismo os quiero; E
Cuanto tengo confieso yo deberos; C
por vos nací, por vos tengo la vida, D
por vos he de morir, y por vos muero. E

and all I desire to write about thee
thee thyself wrote it, I only read it
that even on that matter I follow thee
